About Me
Tabatha Smith is an experienced and passionate yoga and meditation facilitator.
She aims to help students relieve tension and find more ease and delight in their bodies, minds and spirits. She warmly relates to people, aiming to meet them where they are at, no matter their previous yoga or meditation experience. Due to her ultimate respect for the basic goodness and humanity of each person, she is able to create a safe and welcoming space for healing to unfold. She brings her experiences of life, love, parenting, yoga and meditation to her classes, which lends a playful, realistic and celebratory tone. She believes deeply in empowering her students to access their own internal wisdom and healing.
Tabatha has a Bachelors of Psychology, is 350 hour Yoga Teacher Trained and 200 hour Meditation Teacher Trained. She has been practising yoga for over 20 years and teaching for more than seven. She has trained in Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Restorative, Yin and Trauma Sensitive Yoga, as well as Instinctive Meditation. She continues to develop her teaching by studying with knowledgeable and wise teachers.
In her classes, private sessions and workshops Tabatha aims to help students relieve tension and find more ease and pleasure. She weaves together the spontaneous, accepting and healing aspects of yoga and meditation to provide an experience that is rejuvenating and nourishing for the mind, body and spirit. She has experienced personally and watched in her clients the truly transformative nature of the practices she engages in and teaches.
